About Frederikshavn Business College

Frederikshavn Business College is located in the northern part of Denmark, with a central placement in Frederikshavn, overlooking both the sea and city.

The school was founded in 1917, and offers Vocational Education and Training (VET), as well as the Higher Commercial Examination (HHX) programme. The school has around 450 students.

At Frederikshavn Business College we educate the future workforce and leaders of both the regional and global markets. This is why we have a large focus on international relations and the world surrounding us. We include global issues and problems as a part of our everyday teaching, and we travel the world with our students.

Much like how our in-class education is concerned with the thrilling prospects of understanding and exploring the world, this global aspect is also reflected in our partnerships and the willingness to invite international contacts to our school.

Our school has a long tradition of collaboration with other educational institutions abroad. We get recurring visits from both students and teachers from Belgium, Austria, France, Spain, Norway and Sweden.

This leaves our students with the opportunity to engage with foreign cultures and languages, whilst also putting our country and local community on display. We teach our students to be good hosts who welcome international contacts, and consider this to be a crucial aspect of the global market and trade.

We always welcome new collaborations and partnerships.

We live in an area with a good and effective infrastructure, if you wish to visit us. Aalborg Airport is located 45 minutes away, which contains many international routes and connections, and likewise we are also directly connected to Europe through the E45 road network.
